The Confession of SDGossipScene
February 17th, 2010Thank you all for your support and criticism. Over the couple of weeks I’ve had much time to reflect on the future of SDGossipScene. There was one realization for sure — SDGossipScene wasn’t making ANY MONEY!! I felt the investment in photographers wasn’t worth keeping a penniless blog running. It’s just bad business.
With that, I am excited to announce that SDGossipScene is currently consulting with WebitMD – San Diego Internet Marketing to develop SDGossipScene the nightlife entertainment guide.Ta-da! The new SDGossipScene will still provide all of it’s original features, along with a new exciting one that will help businesses promote in a new way.
My last words…
It blows my mind that in six months SDGossipScene has reached 5,000 unique visitors a month (with no promotion). The responses that I have received truly kept me positive that I was on the right track to something amazing. I’ll admit it. I’m the type of girl who has an idea and just does it without fully thinking it out. This scandal has made me look at SDGossipScene in a new light and be able to take the site to the next level.
Ben DeCamp might regret the day he made SDGossipScene start over, because I will never hire him to do any photography for me.
I’ll say this much. Most people say, “If I knew then what I know now; my life would be completely different.” That’s how I feel about the future of SDGossipScene. I get to start over. I’m starting over with more passion and determination than I’ve ever had before. For most of those who don’t know me, that’s a scary thing.
What should you do in the mean time?

SDGossipScene Vs. TheStyleSkank
February 1st, 2010Ben DeCamp has it out for SDGossipScene creator Felicia!
Over the weekend Ben DeCamp emailed club photographers, Jeff Corrigan, Jeff Morris, Tommy McAdams, James Norton and Tim King, asking them to disallow photo usage on SDGossipScene.com. All photographers (with exception of James Norton) emailed SDGossipScene on January 28 and 29, asking to please stop usage of their photos due to it conflicting with their photography. Norton contacted SDGossipScene in reference to the photographers stating, “I don’t know anything about it. Everyone keeps telling me to email you and say you can’t use my pictures. I have no problems with your site. It’s great. Everyone just seems to take everything too serious.”
Felicia has reasons to believe this is a personal attack from Ben DeCamp. The two had a fight after Felicia’s trip to LA to talk to producers about a possible SDGossipScene reality show. Felicia mentioned Ben DeCamp as a possible cast member of the show, because of his life as The Style Shark. Producers were intrigued with The Style Shark, and compared him to The Cobra Snake. After being educated on Cobra Snake, Felicia wrote on Ben’s Facebook wall saying, “Have you ever heard of TheCobraSnake? I bet you didn’t know he was your inspiration.” Ben sent Felicia an email stating:

February 1st, 2010Dan&Mel’s Love is Discovered
February 1st, 2010Scenestar couple, Dan Merino and Melissa Moorcroft, were featured in DiscoverSD: Local Couples Spotlight. The steamy couple opened-up to DiscoverSD about everything from Dan’s lame jokes, to how they first met. Melissa unleashed a dark-secret about the couple’s past saying:
We met in the summer of ‘09 through my boyfriend at the time, they were best friends. He was cheating on me and Dan thought I deserved to know and deserved better. He informed me although he knew that he would be risking ruining the relationship with his friend (which it did). I dumped the guy and Dan became my shoulder to cry on and my comfort. We became best friends and feelings quickly developed. We secretly spent every day together. We had to keep it undercover because of the sensitivity of the situation but eventually we let the cat outta the bag and now I have the most amazing boyfriend EVER!
Juicy indeed!

Very clever and funny Doms.
We love!
